Denver Mortgage markets improved last week on mixed messages about the economy, and a growing belief that the government will move to stimulate the economy. Conforming mortgage rates in Colorado eased lower. According to Freddie Mac's weekly mortgage market survey, average mortgage rates nationwide fell to new all-time lows last week. On the other side of that point, however, is that the accompanying "points" for today's low rates have climbed to their highest levels of 2010. In other words, CO mortgage rates are down, but closing costs are up. There were two main stories driving mortgage rates last week. The first was the Federal Reserve. ~On my feet and running...well almost~ For those of you that read my blog, you know I broke my foot 5 weeks ago.  Well today the doctor wants me to start to try to wear shoes.  So, I am.  See?   And I am also dog sitting my neighbor's dog Libby.  She's a Brittany Spaniel.  Kobi, my dog and Libby have grown up together.  Libby is just 3 months older.  Kobi is almost always off leash.  Libby, I keep on leash.  I would feel terrible if something were to happen to her while she was in my charge. We decided to take a walk this morning on the path behind my house.  That way, if my foot started to hurt I wouldn't be too far from home if Ihad to limp back!  I took my smsart phone with me and took a few photos of the beautiful fall colors that I get to enjoy everyday, since it is literally right...

Verizon Wireless plans $30M-$90M customer refunds for improper fees! According to the Associate Press Verizon Wireless could pay out up to $90 million in refunds to their cell phone customers who were improperly charged for inadvertent Web access or data usage over the past several years! The Federal Communications Commission had asked Verizon Wireless last year about $1.99-a-megabyte data access fees that appeared on the bills of customers who didn't have data plans but who accidentally initiated data or Web access by pressing a button on their phones!
