Concow's Community Rebirth - Life After The Rim Fire   It has been 2 years this month since the Rim Fire was changing the face of the mountain community of Concow. Approximately 180 homes were lost to the fire.  The slow recovery from the disaster of that fire still continues for some.  However there is something remarkable about the course of nature after a fire.  I Have Always Admired Concow Lake. The Post Fire Efforts Of Cal Fire And The Conservation Corps Have  Restored Access To The Panoramic Beauty Of The Lake.           Concow Is A Bit Like A Green House.
