You Need a Million Dollars To Buy a Single Family Home in the West Hollywood Vicinity According to the latest statistics released by The CLAW MLS, October 2012's Sales of West Hollywood Single Family Homes had a Median Price of $1,725,000 and and Average Price of $1,838,000. Of the 5 Closed Sales in October 2012, only one was under a Million dollars while the highest sale was $3,540,000. Looking back to 2011 the highest sale was only $1,650,000. Total Sales for October 2012 were $9,120,000 versus $7,700,000 in October 2011. I'm a huge fan of West Hollywood and feel very fortunate to live here (when I'm not in Palm Springs). This week, in preparation for Gay Pride, the city started painting the crosswalks at the intersection of San Vicente Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard with bright rainbow colors. The City's website (weho.org) says: "June is recognized as Pride Month  by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community worldwide.
