Artistic Crosswalks in Solana Beach CA You can find artistry in all sorts of places if you just watch for it. Some of it can be surprising and a bit out of the ordinary.  I noticed these artsy crosswalks in the Cedros Avenue Design District in Solana Beach when we were in the area to take in art show, Lindu and Friends, at the David Alan Collection. They certainly catch your attention and perhaps are more obviously to motorists, in addition to being raised about road level. Japan Exhibit at The David Alan Collection in the Cedros Design District, Solana Beach CA   The David Alan Collection is an amazing store featuring art, collectibles, furniture, decorative screens, fabric and textiles, accessories, landscape items, and so much more from Asia and the Far East.   Located in the heart of the Cedros Design District in Solana Beach California, The David Alan Collection is a magical journey (slide show) through Asian history and art.     In addition to their usual (well, not really usual) collection, The David Alan Collection recently featured a Japan Exhibit of screens, textiles, decorative items, folk art and furniture, some of it centuries old.
