Fiesta Homes in The Village of Hamton Hills, San Marcos CA Funny thing back in the 1980's the builder of the community "The Village of Hamton Hills" didn't finish the project and sold the remaining lots to US Homes.  In 1987, US Homes built spanish style homes in contrast to the Nantucket style the defaulting builder had started.   The new Fiesta Homes in The Village of Hamton Hills, San Marcos CA were a big hit and sold out fast.  Like Brookfield down the road a mile or two, 4 floor plans, one single level 3 bedroom and 3 two story homes up to 4 bedrooms.  I bought the Plan C, 1507 sq ft, 3/2.5 with a view of the mountains and countryside for $135,000.  I eventually sold it and moved up but it recently sold for $375,000.  The HOA is low, there aren't community pools or spas but lots ... 07/05/2012
