If you've been pounding the pavement trying to find an affordable home in good condition in the Med Center for sale, look no further. This home was built in 1923 and reflects all of the character and charm of that era. I feel sorry for homes that have original architectural detailing and owners over the years strip out those features in favor of trendy styles that later look so dated and ugly.This home is fortunate in that it was mostly spared, and the owners have showered love and attention on this home. I'd like to give a shout out to Lori Kim Polk today for her great home staging job at my Sacramento listing in the Med Center. First, the home was occupied by tenants, and it was almost impossible to show. After the tenants moved out, some buyers and their agents were complaining that my photos looked so much better than the home itself because now there was no furniture in it. They opened the door expecting to see this cute little bungalow and all they saw were hardwood floors that could use refinishing and a crack in the ceiling. OK, we got the crack in the ceiling fixed.
