Whenever you look for movers and shakers just look at when you can get in front of masses of people and see who sets themselves out in the public. I just attended a Home Show in Sacramento CA and found only one lender there... Wells Fargo Home Loans and Kendra Clemon's team was there. I'm anxious to hear how they did. This year I am starting a "tradition" in my office. I will be conducting a non-perishable food & gently used clothing drive for the Lincoln Salt mine. It will run until Dec. 21st. I have been trying to find a local charity to support and this past year I met a wonderful organization called the "Salt Mine".  They are a public charity, offering emergency services to the city of Lincoln and surrounding communities. An update on HVCC - Home Valuation Code of Conduct. Today is a big day for the real estate industry. Here's why... Today the National Association of Mortgage Brokers will be delivering 117,000 signed petitions from mortgage brokers all over the country to Attorney General Cuomo's Manhattan office. The petitions seek the killing of HVCC. The new regulation, which was put in place by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac along with New York State Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo, is not only driving appraisers out of business but also killing real estate sales transactions throughout the country which doesn't really help the housing recovery. I found out that there are currently 301 active listings in  the 95747 zip code. The lowest home for sale is 179k and highest home for sale is 699k. The average days on market is 105. The average price per sq ft is 152. There has been an average of 89 homes sold per month in Roseville the last three months. That tells me that their is a 3 1/3 months supply of HOMES FOR SALE IN ROSEVILLE CA 95747.  There are 52 short sales out of the 301 listings and there is 117 short sale continingent short sale listings.
