From our home in Land Park to the Amador Flower Farm on Shenandoah in Plymouth, it takes about an hour to drive. But it's a beautiful panamora, tranversing Jackson Highway 16: golden rolling hills, sturdy oak trees, gorgeous blue sky. My husband's plan was to stop in Midtown for lunch because he recalled there being no nice restaurants between us and Plymouth. Or, maybe that was an excuse to go to dim sum, I dunno.But I immediately thought of the Sloughhouse Inn, which has since been transformed. I was supposed to list a home in Rancho Covdova this weekend. But the seller of that short sale isn't quite ready yet, and she canceled our appointment. That's too bad because in another month, we'll be moving into the slower season. People think that selling in summer is the best time to put your home on the market, but it's not.
