Palos Verdes real estate sales April 2020 for Palos Verdes homes increased compared to March.  50 Palos Verdes houses sold in April compared to the 48 homes sold in March and increased compared to the 48 homes that sold in April 2019.  There were 42 Palos Verdes single family homes pending in April which is exactly the same as the 42 homes pending in March.  The number of active Palos Verdes homes for sale in April (141) was slightly higher than the 140 homes for sale in March. The Palos Verdes Unified School District has had to change directions for its summer school program because of the COVID-19 virus.  This year,  summer school will be an online program for all grade levels.  All summer school programs will begin on June 22, 2020.Palos Verdes elementary students participating in a Summer Break Program will be taking one block of reading, writing and math which will be taught via Zoom.  The program will be taught with the maximum of only 18 students per teacher.  Classes will begin at 8:30 a.m. and go until 12:00 noon.   Students will be attending classes from Monday, June 22, through Friday, July 17, 2020.  The cost for elementary students is $500. Palos Verdes AYSO Soccer (Region 10) is currently accepting early bird online registration for Fall 2020.
