A funny thing happen to me on the way to the office this morning.  The day started off just like any other Tuesday after a 3 day weekend up at 5:30am checking the local news paper and flipping on the computer to see eat e-mails have come in while Janet and I were taking some needed R-&-R.  Coffee in hand and both Jack and Honey on the sofa enjoying their morning dog bone; there it was in the headline of the paper “Flopping” unscrupulous real estate agents fake “Brokers Price Opinion” (BOP) valuing the home well below market, and pick off properties from lenders, then resell at market value.  The first a long list of bad new this morning.  On the radio news on the road to the office, cons...

The high speed train is under attack from the powers in Sacramento after approving the route through the Antelope Valley they are rethinking things now.  The high speed train very well run along interstate 5 and misses us altogether.  The Antelope Valley in still the only growth area in Los Angeles County and bypassing this area is short sided period. Real Estate Trends - Palmdale, Lancaster, Quartz Hill and the Greater Antelope Valley May 10, 2011. In Palmdale, Q1 building permits pulled came in at 40, versus 41 in Q1 of 2010.  Lancaster had 45 permits pulled in Q1, but that was way down from the 108 in Q1 of 2010.  In the unincorporated areas of the AV, just 1 permit was pulled vs. 85 last year in Q1.
