This is one of the wackiest ways I've met a buyer yet.  They haven't closed yet, so still not 100%, but offer is in and we'll see.. New DMV Office Opens in Palm Desert Palm Desert residents will no longer have to drive to Indio or Palm Springs to fulfill their Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)needs. The DMV opened its third location for the Coachella Valley in Palm Desert earlier this week. The new opening is expected to ease wait times at all of the DMV locations, which are typically overcrowded with long wait times. In addition to long wait times, for residents from the middle of the valley neither location was really very convenient to drive to.
