January, 2011 Home Sales in Orange and Orange Park Acres, California January, 2011 home sales in Orange were off from the December closings and down year over year. Inventory is also up. The good news is that the number of homes in Escrow at the end of January improved over the month before. There were 64 total closed sales in Orange and Orange Park Acres in January. Of the total, 43 were single family residences.   As of the end of the year 2010, there were 441 properties in active status and 160 total properties in either "Back-up" or "Pending" sale status. As January came to a close, there were 471 total properties on the market in Orange/OPA and 191 in Escrow. So although inventory is up almost 7%, the "sales in progress" are up over 18%.
