I've been showing a client a lot of homes in Oceanside lately. We are trying to get west of the 5 in Oceanside under 650K, but most places are fixers. We've also been looking nearby in Historical Loma Alta community and Fire Mountain. Yesterday I showed a really cool home that featured GOOGIE architecture. Basically, GOOGIE is FUNK FACTOR, INOVATOR type stuff.  Anyhow, I've seeen most of the homes in Loma Alta Oceanside recently between 500-700K, and when we saw this one we were like WHOA!The Loma Alta neighborhood is quite unique, compared to North County San Diego, at least. By no means are Historic Loma Alta Homes "Cookie Cutter". This is one of the larger commuities that you will find in this price point that is LOCATED LOCATED LOCATED, just 4 minute drive to the ocean. Loma Alta is...

Air B&B's vs VRBO's Anyone have any hands on experience as guests/clients or your own vacation rental investments?    I'm anxious to hear from folks who've had personal hands on experience with both. We will be expanding our VRBO  portfolio and are curious to know which may be the better choice for the quality of clientele/guests, ROI and ease of managing.   I've heard various opinions about how difficult it is to schedule both without some degree of conflict and/or confusion.    BTW,  I just read Fred Griffin's two questions re: Air B&B's and VRBO's and found some very interesting opinions, attitudes and philosophies about this cottage industry that just seems to be getting bigger, better and more successful by the year.    I do realize that there are a lot of municipalities and neighb...
