Market Report for Murrieta, CA - West Side's The Vineyard, Pulte Homes for Sale The Vineyard by Pulte homes is a neighborhood that was built out primarily in 2005.  It is supposed to have a community pool and new elementary school coming in across the Murrieta Creek to the west, but those plans have been put on hold in the recession.  Homes range from apx 3100 sq ft to 4000 sq ft. It is February 11, 2010, and I've been watching a lot of blogs about how many inches or feet of snow other areas of the country are getting.  So I walked into the current yard in Murrieta and took this picture a few minutes ago: It is 60's and sunny in Murrieta, CA, and I'm glad.  Now that I'm 4-, er 29 again, I can enjoy the snow for about a week of frozen fingers on the chains, cold buckles on ski boots, skiiing, hot-tubbing, eating extra because I tell myself I'm burning more calories, trying to be smarter than the cold (i.e., bring extra pairs of gloves and try to get things dry at night for me and the 4 kids; husband is Retired Marine and claims not to feel cold or pain).  After that, I need to be where you have to take off your jacket if you start moving around outside, good ol' s...

In the world of REO and short sales buyers sometimes don't get an inspection because they think it won't matter. They assume the seller won't fix anything anyway. Well that may be true although not always. I am currently selling for lenders and they do repair certain items without difficulty. But, even if they won't, the buyer still must beware. When I do an initial home inspection, agent style, not professional in depth, I see the obvious and make a note of it. I also check to see if toilets flush and water comes out of the taps, but I don't see the hidden problems that can lurk. Homes that have been vacant have seals that dry out and may leak when the water comes back on, drains may have a ton of hair in them or worse.
