I was looking for information how the Marina Del Rey Condominium market has fared. The Marina Del Rey, CA Condominium Market  Report for September is published...Buyers and Realtor watch the listing inventory closely, primarily because that will determine what type of purchase strategy has to be used.  As you can see compared to the previous year there is an increase in the inventory, needless to say compared to two years previously the inventory is still tighter.Equally important indicator is the median Sales Price. The Marina Del Rey, CA Condominium listings remain very tight from an inventory perspective. Look at the three year comparison and you can see why buyers and their agents are complaining about the need for more inventory: Needless to say with the lack of inventory not surprisingly the Pending Sales are down as well. Surprisingly not as much as I would have anticipated.  I am sure as you saw the above two statistics you can guess what this has done to the Days on Market Statistics. The Marina Del Rey Condominium Market for February 2016 has been very interesting and I have been meaning to share with you. Keep in mind these numbers include the ultra luxury penthouses as well as the townhomes that are a couple miles from the beech. You have heard me and everyone else grousing about the lack of inventory well just look at the three year comparison and it is very telling. SALT the Restaurant in Marina Del Rey, CA 90292We decided to meet our friends from Boston at SALT, that is the Restaurant in the Marina Del Rey Hotel which is now part of the Pacifica Hotel chain, in Marina del Rey, CA, 90292. It has been years since I stepped on the ground, many years ago we used to have my parents stay in the Hotel. It was very convenient, we lived less than a mile from there so I could pick them up in the morning and drop them off in the evening…. Since the last time my father was visiting it was very hard for me to bring friends there…. Marina del Rey October 2015 Market OverviewIn Marina Del Rey there were 28 condominium sales in October 2015, down from 30 in October 2014and a 8% increase from the 26 sales closed last month. The average list price for condo sales in October 2015 was $1,099,389 compared to $838,712 for October 2014, representing a 31% increase. I used to have an Ocean View in my face every time I turned on my Laptop or my Desk Top... those were the good old days.
