Rebuilding Together Seeks House Captains By Michael P. Wow--it's been a long time since I've posted. So, today, I figured it was about time to let you know what I've been up to. M-O-V-I-N-G!   The older I get, the harder I am finding it is to get moving...period.But, anyway, I am back HOME in Southern, California, living in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains. If you're not certain where that is--well, it was all over the news last year due to widespread fires. Mother Nature at her worst.    However, this community is still beautiful and still has so much to offer. It is a great place to live, either full-time or part-time and to raise a family.      Skyforest is a small, charming community located on the outskirts of Lake Arrowhead and between Rim Forest and Running Springs along Highway 18.  It is about a five minute drive to Lake Arrowhead Village and is probably best know as the home to Santa's Village (a small children's theme park that closed its doors a number of years ago).       Skyforest holds a special place in my heart because it was my home growing up.  It was my home from the day my folks brought me home from the hospital until I went away to college and my parents still live there today.  I spent my younger days riding bikes in the summer and sledding in the winter.  I sold lemonade and popcorn outside the post office, climbed trees, split firewood, had a treehouse and got my first job working the donkey and pony... 02/29/2008

I reluctantly rolled out of bed this morning for a long run... My husband was ready to go in a flash and I kept tinkering with my MP3 player to get the right song going.  Well, I wasted all the time that he would allow for me and headed out this crisp morning.To my surprise it was a great run and I am glad to be writing this.  We headed out down our street to run the lake.
