From the Home builders perspective. Once was a time not too long ago when Banks were lending anyone any amount with little to no qualification short of a pulse. Well at least a pulse on the day of signing docs. The American dream was for a short time alive & well. But surely we all knew it could not last. The lending escalated into a frenzy where if you were not in the mix you were either the smartest one in the room (as it ultimately turns out) or the most foolish depending on who you were asking.
