As of April 3, 2007 41% of available listings in Kentfield, CA are in escrow.  That might indicate a Seller's Market, but my personal opinion is that there is just not much inventory in Kentfield right now.  And for good reason. For the month of March 2007, 5 homes sold in Kentfield.  The average original list price for these homes was $4,573,000 and the average final selling price was $4,047,600.  It took these homes an average of 266 days to sell.  This information is skewed some by one property that was originally listed at $5,900,000 and sold for $3,500,000 after an agonizing 1181 days on the market.Of the 5 homes that did sell, only 1 sold for the original asking price.  All others sold for less. For more information about this area, click here, or feel free to call me.

Among the area's many attributes: gracious homes, stunning views, wooded neighborhoods and good schools, limitless outdoor activities, and fabulous weather make this one of the most desirable places to live in the Bay Area.  And home prices reflect this. Kent Woodlands is unquestionably one of the hottest real estate locations in Marin, with multi-acre properties that often sell in the $4 million and up range. When it rains, it pours in Kentfield.
