Today I received a phone call from an agent that I've worked with in the past.  "Do you know Mr. Buyer that you're going to be showing a listing to tomorrow?  He's my client," she said.  Well of course I'm not going to work with another agent's client, so I bowed out.  But not without a cautionary lesson to her. "He didn't mention he had another agent, did you already sign a BRE with him?" I asked. "A what?!" she asked. Watching the TV show "Undercover Boss" with Dina Dwyer-Owens, Chairwoman and CEO of the Dwyer Group, we were impressed that they recite their "code of values" before each company meeting, to keep their commitment "front and center" and to emphasize the importance of the company philosophy.  They even have 14 "service steps" that each worker must do before serving a customer.  Very impressive!
