Fullerton's 74th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony will be held Monday May 28th, 2012 at 10:00 am Location: Loma Vista Memorial Park, 701 E. Say "Hello" to the New Alternative Fuel Station in Fullerton.  The Propel Clean Mobility Center is located at 1124 E. Chapman Ave. The station offers E85 ethanol and biodiesel fuels.  It is the firm of more than 200  clean mobility enters that are set to open in our state, and was partially funded by grants from the  California Energy Commission and the US Energy Dept.    There are 16 pumps at the station, 8 of which are for regular gas.  There are 4 pumps for E85 and they are yellow and topped with a sign that lists all the cars that are flex-fuel compatible. The four pumps for biodiesel are green and evenly split between fuel made with either 5% and 20% recycled vegetable oil.  Every pump is also marked with an 800 phone number staffed with a customer service representative to answer... 05/23/2012

New GE BNSF Dash9 4,400HP Railroad days in Fullerton 2012 May 5 & 6 was a great event. It all started off with the Pancake breakfast at 8:00 sharp hosted by the Boy Scouts troup #292. Encouraged by the scout leaders they have an opportunity to increase their people skills by interact with the public. I gave my money to the young Scout then another young chap relayed "one pancake Breakfast" to his counter part. Being still early I ventured towards the brand new BNSF GE Dash 9 (see video) engine that was on the side track humming away. It was only 8:50am so I waited in a short line ready for my experience of walking along the catwalk and through this 4,400 horse power 12 cylinder monster of an engine. Home inspections are so critical - most everyone needs to have one prior to closing on a real estate purchase.  And not all inspectors are the same -- make sure you have a seasoned veteran doing the inspection -- and make sure you get a written report with lots of pictures.  this report can be well worth the money just in negotiating with the Seller for repairs.  I always include a copy of the report to the listing agent and ask them to forward it to the owner.  Even the "flippers" like to have the report -- so they can get the workers they used to go back and do it right.  Every nickle of the report cost is well worth it. Fullerton CA Real Estate Market Report For The Month Of April 2012   ACTIVE REAL ESTATE LISTINGS DROP AGAIN IN FULLERTON CA The Fullerton real estate market continued to show signs of improvement and stabilization in April, as the number of active real estate listings in Fullerton dropped and the number of pending and closed real estate sales in Fullerton increased month over month. While the changes haven't been as drastic as those seen in other Orange County and Riverside County communities, it is a welcome shift  from the over abundance of property for sale in Fullerton. In fact, the number of available real estate listings in Fullerton is quite low, especially for such a vast city, leaving potential home buyers with few options to choose from. It is hard to imagine, but inventory of homes for sale in Fullerton California has gone down.  Even though we were at all time lows before; today we are even lower - really hard to fathom.  We suspect that this is due to the (relative) shortage of "move up Buyers"  -- the ones who want to buy a better or bigger home and place their existing home on the market for sale.  We also believe that "fear" of job insecurity is the dominate issue underlying this situation. Hopefully when the economy picks up some more, this situation will correct itsself.  Fullerton Real Etate is still high on the demand list.  04/30/2012
