As compared to the end of January, the number of houses and condos for sale in Fullerton have fallen by a shocking 44.4%, and primarily in the foreclosure and short sale listing categories. Even though these 2 distressed listing categories increased on a month to month basis, they've come down by 78.2% and 73.1% respectively, since the beginning of the year. In the real estate market there are always opportunities, but now may be the best time for the most of us.  Big Investors always seem to find the "deals" - so if you are the big investor then you already know this.  Today low prices coupled with low interest rates now bring the "deals" down to us everyday buyers.  It doesn't take the huge sums of money to buy now - just some cash and good credit and good employment.  I know that is not easy, but it is within reach of a lot of people.  I keep alerting people that real estate is a LONG TERM investment, and several years from now many of us may have to look back a say "what an opportunity" that I missed.  Not over-reaching and staying within a conservative budget may well prove to be the tactics for today.  I am not just talking about home...
