Define Your Needs Write down all the reasons for selling your home. Ask yourself this question: "Why do I want to sell and what do I expect to accomplish with the sale?" For example, a growing family may prompt your need for a larger home, or a job opportunity in another city may necessitate a move. Increase the value of your Fremont Home: Curb Appeal is the first thing a Buyer will look at and either stay or drive away! Tip 1: Curb Appeal First impressions count. Similar to a fresh coat of paint for a room, a yard that has the grass cut nicely goes a long way. Walk outside and look at your front yard and the front of the home. Does the front of the house need paint or residing? Are there any broken windows or shutters that need repair? Does the yard need cleaning? You do not need to hire a landscape architect, but you want to make sure that your yard looks clean and nice. Be sure to pick up any items in the yard, position trash bins so that they are not visible from the street and any other general cleaning / maintenance that might be needed. If you need information for a someone...

I found a very inexpensive fix concerning my Fremont hot water pressure or lack there of. Over a period of about 3 to 4 months, my family and I noticed very low hot water pressure. It also felt like there was just not enough hot water to go around. Moreover, dollar signs were appearing in my head because, when I searched the Internet for possible fixes, I found many causes for the same low hot water pressure problem--bad pipes, and bad water heater were to name a few.   Here is what I did for a quick $0 fix. I shut off the water main. Our Fremont Townhomes have a massive 1" water main. As a Fremont real estate agent, http://www.tricityhome.com I see many homes, and 1" pipe is rare. Point being, there should be no reason why we have low pressure hot or cold. Anyway, after shutting off t...

Irvington Fremont Station is now an approved BART station that is being built. It extends the Fremont BART line in a more southerly direction and should be completed over the next few years. Starting from the end of the existing Fremont BART station between Walnut and Mowry, next to the Tule Pond (pronounced Tu-lee). From there, the line will continue southeast UNDER Lake Elizabeth then turn south before it emerges from the depths of Stivers Lagoon just east of Aqua Adventure Water Park. Afterwards, it will end up in Irvington before it arrives at the Tesla plant.     The BART site has an image for the new location on a map, but it views the landscape from North to South, opposite of the normal or default view of Google Maps. I flipped it below, but it is still hard to view.     As a ...

Bitcoin Mania   Houses in Holland used to pride having a Tulip. In the 17th century the Dutch Tulip Mania was the most hyped thing that was on every mind and tongue. The prices at the peak if adjusted for today's rate would be around $1250 for a single bulb of Tulip. People all over were going crazy to sell all possessions to get their hands on a Tulip. You can read all about this in detail here Fremont Homes for sale. The current craze for Bit coins are very much the same, explains Gary North in "I, Broken pencil".   The difference is that here with Bitcoins there is nothing tangible, at-least during the Dutch Tulip bubble, everyone who invested got a Tulip. The digital currency runs parallel to the existing Fiat money irrespective of any country . This poses a brand new opportunity for ...

Totally cool time. The great time of the year when its cold, and homes smell of cookies, cakes and chocolate among other things. When people just want to relax and everyday is a holiday feeling. I had my friends and family around me , having a blast , playing indoor games, and lots and lots of good food. There is a sense of happiness . I personally look forward to this time of year , never a disappointment. Its especially great to drive homes for sale in fremont. One time at my parents house I cooked for everyone, it just brought me such joy, its inexplicable. May the good times roll. Merry Christmas to all.   Please share your experiences and thoughts .

I Never in my wildest thoughts imagined helping buyers would be such wonderful and exciting process. When I got my License fresh of the press, it felt great , I was jubilant , but nothing compares to the rush when I had my first buyers pre qualified and taking them to homes they liked. I have come a long way from then, but it still excites me the same. Every home is different, a beauty to be admired, there is something always new about it.  Every smell and odor is different, I always make it a point to take a wiff of the odor when I step in. Not all smell nice, but the anticipation is key. The other day I had a Open House house in Fremont, the first thing I noticed was the smell, it tooksome time to aerate the place I always enter first when I go with buyers to show just to be sure it ...

Market Report for Fremont, Ca. as of 10-31-13. I have not done a market report for some time. The market has changed. Inventory (the number of homes actively listed for sale) was up but now is has headed downwards again. We are heading into the Holiday Season where reduced inventory is an expectation. On top of the normal reduced level of inventory we are still burdened by the unusually low inventory trend that has been dogging the market for over a year.     The market has changed markedly in the last two years as you can see from the chart. The two biggest, most obvious changes revealed by the chart are: 1.Inventory of listed homes for sale has declined and has been low for at least the last year.  2.Listings for distressed homes have shown a huge decline. Whereas total distressed sal...

The Fremont, Ca. market report will look pretty familiar to reports for prior months and to reports from other San Francisco Bay Area markets and markets in many areas across California and across the country.   Inventory remains woefully short. Buyer interest remains strong driven by record low interest rates and prices that are well below the high-water point of a few years ago. The resulting imbalance of the traditional supply/demand equation has created a very robust sellers’ market. Multiple offers are the order of the day. Many properties are selling very quickly with prices often exceeding the expectations of the sellers. Buyers are turning to aggressive tactics in their attempts to get their offers accepted. Cash offers, offers without contingencies for property condition or ap...

Glenmoor Elementary School, a 2012 recognized California Distinguished School by CA Department of Education, in Fremont has an outstanding musical theater company called Glenmoor Musical Theater (GMT). The GMT has been around for many years and has performed musicals that outperform many would be expectations.  These must see performances are made possible in part to the tireless work of Mrs. Smith, Kindergarten teacher and head of the Glenmoor Musical Theater.   Parents of the performers must also volunteer their skills in order to make it all work however. As a result, there are directors, editors, set designers, costume designers and plenty of gaffs.   The latest production this Spring is The Rainmaker, set in a a jungle rain-forest backdrop that sends an ecological message.   The Irvington Business Association has started a new Holiday Tradition. Last year, IBA President Jesse Schaa proposed a Holiday Lights Competition. The contest was popular and it returned for an encore this year. The contest was open to both residential and non-residential entries. Prizes are generous: $250 for first prize and $100 for second prize. To be eligible the lighting display must be in the 94538 zip code – generally, the historic boundaries of the Irvington Township. Last Saturday evening, the judges cruised the Irvington area aboard a 1958 vintage bus and took in the joyful sights of holiday lights while enjoying hot cocoa and cookies. The decision of the judges is in! First Place: 4106 Adams Ave. – Harry and Cindy Parker Second Place: 41689 Maywood St. – Cindi Hennings   C...

Christmas lights can be found in many neighborhoods in Fremont, Ca.The homes on Cripps Place transform the neighbor hood into Crippsmass Place with decorations and the joy of the season.   Reeder Court has for many years been a destination visited by those who love to drive the neighborhoods and look at Christmas lights.   We took our granddaughters to view the displays of holiday lights and plywood cutout characters on the courts running off of Nicolet Avenue – Asquith Place, Wellington Place, Nicolet Court and Cripps Place. The girls insisted that we park and get out so that could get a better look at the displays.                                                                                                                                                                             ...
