Fountain Valley Trunk or Treat   If you're like me, Trunk or Treat may be a fairly (or brand new) term for you.  In a trunk or treat, several cars are gathered together, and their trunks are opened, decorated, and filled with candy.     This year, the City of Fountain Valley is having its first trunk or treat.  The trunk or treat will take place on Friday 10-28-11 at 5:30 pm. Wear a costume, and be sure to bring a bag for your treats.  There will be other games and activities. After you are trunk or treated out, the City of Fountain Valley will present Gremlins as part of their Friday Night movie series.  The movie starts at 7pm. The trunk or treat will take place at Fountain Valley Recreation Center and Sports Park at 16400 Brookhurst St., Fountain Valley, CA. _________________________...

How Do I Start a Short Sale In Fountain Valley CA One of the toughest decisions facing homeowners in Fountain Valley these days is whether or not to do a short sale. Most homeowners don’t understand the process, but what’s even scarier is that most real estates don’t either. Many agents tend to shy away from short sales because they don’t understand how they work. #1 – SELECT THE RIGHT AGENT Like all other professions, real estate agents are not created equally! A Fountain Valley short sale is a very complicated and arduous type of transaction, and most agents just don’t not where to begin. As a seller, YOU MUST SELECT YOUR AGENT CAREFULLY! Choose an agent that is familiar with the process and who has successfully completed at least a couple of short sales preferably with multiple lende...

I Have a Son. I took a break for a little while. My wife and I have been blessed with a perfect boy. He was born 8 pounds 14 ounces, 21 inches and with all his fingers and toes accounted for. The experience has been wonderful. Our Four Corners on Brookhurst Community have been wonderful. My family has relied on the great restaurants on Brookhurst for meals several times in the last month. Our neighbors have been curious. Kelly my two year old does not yet know whether she likes the idea yet of having a brother. Kimberly our nine years old has been a loving sister both to her new brother and to her confused sister.  Jovita, my Bonita wife, is the most wonderful Mom and wife. I do not know how she handles everything. I am truly a Blessed man. God is good.

I am Mark Artesani , my daughter Kimberly goes to Gisler Elementary and at the Gisler fair the last two years, I have had a booth.  I am a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty and I have a drawing for two gift cards every year. I am again going to have a booth at the fair and wanted to know if you could help me decide what type of gift card to give away this year in my drawing. The last two years I have given away a gift card, from the Pottery Barn Kids, a store in South Coast Plaza. I was thinking that this year I would give away a card to a restaurant or store from here in Fountain Valley. I was think maybe a store or restaurant on Brookhurst. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks and by the way if you do know anyone that does need any  real estate information or help. Please let me ...

4 Corners on Brookhurst 4 Corners on Brookhurst-CoCo’s- Ellis and Brookhurst – Fountain Valley, CA   O.n Saturday morning my wife and two daughters and my son to be went Garage sailing. We were not too successful but it was hard work and we worked up a mighty hunger. Since we are always looking for a good place to blog about we decided Coco’s would be a great place to go to. We were right and pleasantly surprised not by the fact that the food was great but that the children’s breakfast were so big. The service was good and attentive. I had the eggs Benedict. It was hot and cooked well. I wanted the cinnamon French toast but the menus now have the calories listed. What a drag! My wife is allergic to eggs so she ordered a California omelet without the eggs. She enjoyed it and she thought...

Chateau Blanc, located at Brookhurst and Ellis, is one of the reasons Fountain Valley is considered a "Nice Place to Live. Chatau Blanc is an older townhome complex in Fountain Valley with great and wide green belts. The association board has always taken great pride in the landscape with great trees and variety of plants and flowers. Each front yard area has its own special flavor.  I have often seen guest marvel at the variety go on a horticulture safari around the complx. This is kid heaven with most units having a large green belt in front which parents can keep a good watch. There is a playground, swimming pool and tennis court to enjoy.  The clubhouse has a wonderful view of the swimming pool and access to a play yard with room for jumpers and ,or barbecues. The kitchen is well equ...
