Escondido Hills is a community that is made up of approx one thousand homes ( a wild guess). As of this post Escondido Hills has only 1 detacehd home for sale and one condo for sale! Inventory is slim on Escondido Hills Homes For Sale, indeed!  Escondido Hills is a covenient neighborhood in regards to its location and amenties. Home Loan Interest Rates Are Going Up! Here Is Why!  The Federal Reserve revealed in the minutes of the last Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting that it has decided to implement a "balance sheet reduction program" of its estimated $4.5 trillion balance sheet. This will increase the  supply of mortgage backed securities, treasury bonds and other debt obligations which we believe will decrease the price and thus increase the yield of the instruments which home loan interst rates follow. As median income continues to not keep pace with the increase in real estate prices, interest rates and other increases to the overal cost of ownership, real estate market values could suffer. Potential home sellers may want to take advantage of this opportunity to sell their home now before prices...

$5 Million Jade Buddha in Escondido 2010  Way back in early 2010 I just happened to stumble on a $5 million Jade Buddha, after visiting my Escondido listing a short distance away. Numerous cars on a hill in the field that shouldn't have been there, and multicolored flags, caught my attention, so I had to check it out. After my visit and some great photo ops, I did a little research and learned that what I had seen was the Jade Buddha of Universal Peace on a world tour, making an appearance at the Phap Vuong Monastery in Vista. The gemstone-quality Jade Buddha was created from one 18-ton stone (it weighs about 4 tons), and is the largest of its kind in the world. I felt blessed to have seen it!!

Seven Secrets To Selling Your Home For Top DollarAs you have probably noticed, our local real estate market has improved in many aspects mostly values are increasing again! Here are some tips for you to maximize the sales price you receive for your home:1. Start with Curb Appeal.Your buyers' first impression of your home is when they arrive. Make sure that your lawn is very healthy and trimmed neatly. Your trees, hedges and bushes should be very healthy and trimmed neatly so the buyers can see your home! All of the above should frame and accentuate your home not block it or drive buyers away.2. De Clutter Inside and Out.All of us, with very few exceptions, have too much stuff in and around our homes to stage them properly for sale. A good rule of thumb is to remove 2/3 to half of your b...

"How does having a mall close to your neighborhood impact RE values?" I asked the question below in a previous post right after this past December's "Black Friday" and was surprised to realize how many folks were relatively Pollyanna and/or indifferent about what is starting to look like a looming reality.   "I'm seeing the numbers coming in from Wall street already about this holiday's sales numbers. Black Friday had over 2 billion in online sales and they hadn't even tabulated what on-site store sales were but it wasn't looking too good. The reality is that this is nothing new. In house store sales have been suffering for the past decade or so while online sales i.e. Amazon have been soaring along with the stock.  What would happen to RE values in your particular neighborhood should m...
