  I'll do my best not to be offended     There are times when a first time customer says somethings that I find offensive. It usually has to do with my professionalism before they even give me a chance. I do my best to not be offended. Maybe they have had some bad experiences in the past, but at least give me the opportunity to show you how I do things. It don't need to be reminded when I said I will start, I will be there on Monday. I don't need a rehash of the work that needs to be done, I've read and fully understand the report. I have been paid at closing, I will send the invoice as I said I would. I'm not going to take this personally, I will use it as an opportunity to show the customer what a contractor can do.   It looks like a pile of junk to me!    Okay, I admit that I'm not a guy who tinkers with automobiles. I know where the diesel fuel goes into my truck, I can change the oil, even the air filter but that about the extent of my willingness to get greasy under the hood. It's not my thing!   I have a son who loves this stuff. He talks to his greasy friends in a foreign language that only a mechanic can understand. I don't know where he got the love of working on cars and trucks but I know it wasn't from me.   We had the opportunity to drive across the Sacramento Valley into Elverta to get a much needed front axle. I've been driving for nearly 40 years and have never needed a front axle. This one was a better front end for off road driving, something my son love to do with the grease monkey... 07/12/2014
