One of the many things I love about Los Angeles is that you can move into a neighborhood only 2 miles from your former neighborhood and discover a whole new world...new views, great restaurants, and fantastic new restaurants and shops. I lived in West Hollywood for 6 years, which was amazing, especially being able to walk to Sunset and home, and I lived in Echo Park for several years, which has the fantastic "Brite Spot" and the Little Joy (which I'm sure is no longer cool, but it was then), and of course, plenty of live music joints like The Echo.
