Dana Point Strands Salt Creek Beach Hiking Trail This morning I woke up and it was just absolutely gorgeous. Sunny, cloudless skies, warm. Just one of those days where it would almost be considered a crime if I didn't get to spend even a little bit of it outdoors. So instead of doing my normal routine of walking just on the trails near my house I decided to go to the trail at the Strands in Dana Point at Salt Creek Beach. Though this is a simple trail there are steep hills, lots of stair climbing and it will kick your rear end and leave your legs shaking and wondering if I am going to die several times during the hike, which that is actually my definition of a great hike. Real Estate Trends for Dana Point January 2013   The median sales price for homes in Dana Point, CA for Nov 12 to Jan 13 (2012-2013) was $625,000. This represents an increase of 6.1%, or $36,000, compared to the prior quarter and an increase of 23.2% compared to the prior year. Sales prices have depreciated 17.7% over the last 5 years in DanaPoint.   The average listing price for Dana Point homes for sale was $2,134,346 for the week ending Feb 13, which represents an increase of 7.2%, or $143,631, compared to the prior week and an increase of 3.1%, or $63,620, compared to the week ending Jan 23.
