Dana Point Strands Salt Creek Beach Hiking Trail This morning I woke up and it was just absolutely gorgeous. Sunny, cloudless skies, warm. Just one of those days where it would almost be considered a crime if I didn't get to spend even a little bit of it outdoors. So instead of doing my normal routine of walking just on the trails near my house I decided to go to the trail at the Strands in Dana Point at Salt Creek Beach. Though this is a simple trail there are steep hills, lots of stair climbing and it will kick your rear end and leave your legs shaking and wondering if I am going to die several times during the hike, which that is actually my definition of a great hike. What is a view worth? Laguna Beach / Dana Point Buyers often ask me - "How much is a view worth?" Of course views are subjective. Here in the coastal area we have the 1 to 10 system which is, let's say, not exactly scientific. Also what is it a view of? If it is a valley view that is nice.
