On March 3, 2008, Culver CityBus commemorated its 80th Anniversary. Culver CityBus is the second oldest municipally-owned bus line in the State of California. Following a dispute with Pacific Electric Railway, the City of Culver City sought to establish its own independent transit system, one that would provide quality transit service to the residents of Culver City and its neighbors. On March 3, 1928, the State Railroad Commission granted Culver City's request and Culver CityBus was established. Since its inception, Culver CityBus has provided efficient and affordable public transit service to the residents of Culver City and the surrounding communities. Today, the name "Culver CityBus" is synonymous with safe, reliable, convenient, and friendly public transit service.

We get to Los Angeles quite regularly and in some ways it feels like a second home. As one of the largest cities in the country, LA affords one a wealth of things to do, see and experience. Great dining is one of them. One of my favorite things to do is enjoy new restaurants that make a great impression - for the food, the service and the ambiance. Brunello Trattoria in Culver City (affectionately called Brunello's) is a new place on my list of favorite eateries in LA. The place reminded me of some places I have eaten in Italy - friendly and convivial staff, attentive service, Italian being spoken by the staff and owners (he is the master of operations, she is the chef), outstanding and beautiful food (melt in your mouth pastas and risottos, incredible desserts, artfully prepared salads...

1.  Pricing a Home with no knowledge of the Market Conditions- Every Market is different, with different strategies for selling in each. Currently, we are in a strong Buyer's Market, but it's not always that way! Do yourself a favor and retain a good Realtor to help you with Comps in your neighborhood.Remember: a home is only worth, what a buyer is willing to pay for it. A home that is priced correctly for the market conditions will sell..and it will sell FAST! 2.Taking things  too  personally While purchasing or selling  a home can be an emotional experience, it doesn't have to be. Look at each issue as a monatary one. You don't like the wallpaper? The bottom line is..what will it cost to replace it? Or, what will it cost you as the seller, to de-personalize your home so that it appeal...

I was talking to my dogs trainer when she mentioned that I should consider taking Carmen (our puppy) to the Boneyard so she could have more interaction with other dogs. I shared with her that I try to stay away from dog parks as I have heard they carry diseases and not all the dogs are nice, but she advised me to give this park a try. Well, Carmen & I visited the Boneyard and it was the nicest and cleanest dog park I have seen. It is over 1 acre and is located in the middle of a large park. Divided into two areas, (1) for large dogs and (1) for smaller dogs, it features benches, trees, water fountains, a hilly area, pooper scoopers, an information board and a shaded area. The ground is covered with decomposed granite and it is truly user friendly. It has been open since early 2006 and i...

Know your Market. You and your Buyer Agent should have a firm grip on market conditions in your area. Each area is different, and what might effect one area..won't effect another. Go to Open Houses with your agent, so that you can see what is available in your price range. One of the biggest influences on home prices is "Supply and Demand".  Its always wise to buy in the very best area you can afford..even if the house isn't the isn't "perfect" in the area, the value of the area around you will drive up the value of your property. What you can afford to pay? Start by being pre-approved for a loan with your Mortgage Agent. Pre-approval will give you a solid figure to work with so that you don't waste time looking at homes you cannot afford. If you have a lender that you are working with,...
