Corona Homes for Sale - Market Report - April 2010 Here is a report of real estate activity in Corona, CA for April 2010.  The number of houses for sale and that are in escrow is as of May 14, 2010. Strategic Default??? It seems that some of my AR brothers and sisters are playing fast and loose with semantics.  With so many agents blogging about Strategic Defaults, I couldn't help but post a clarification message to the misguided souls. Strategic default is an oxymoron.  There is no such thing as strategically defaulting on your home loan.  When you do so, you have forfeited all of your alternative options and given all leverage you might have at an alternative to the lienholder(s).  As a short sale agent specializing in negotiations with lienholders, I can't stress strongly enough that walking away is an absolute credit disaster for the homeowner. I couldn't help myself.  I was driving back to the office this morning after showing a home in Corona and saw a home being tented for termites (guess it could be other insects, but I doubt it).   What caught my eye was the slogan on the Terminix banner.  "No Bugs.  No Hassles"... LOL Somehow I can't imagine the family that's living with friends or at a hotel during the tenting would say it wasn't a hassle.  ;-) While tenting is an effective method for eradicating wood destroying pests, "Hassle Free" it isn't, (especially for the bugs!!!).   Spread the word.
