The Chino Valley Foodie Truck Fundraiser and State of the District Address hosted over a dozen of the region's gourmet food trucks in their event to raise money for the school district. Talk about a yummy selection of delights! As everyone stood anxiously awaiting for the event to begin, you could hear murmurs regarding what eveyone planned to attack. This past April in an effort to deal  with budget cuts, Chino Valley Unified School District  came up with an innovative plan to raise funds. They looked to the popularity of food truck festivals as a revenue source. It was such a big hit the first time that they are doing it again. The event is scheduled September 17, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  at Don Lugo High School. The Chino Valley Foodie Truck Fundraiser will host fourteen of the region's gourmet food trucks.
