 July 23 is Vanilla Ice Cream Day-Yumm! On a hot summer day, what could be more cool, refreshing and delicious than vanilla ice cream?There's soft spot in my heart (and mouth) for vanilla ice cream, as it was my Daddy's favorite.             As reported by the San Jose Mercury News, the Campbell Pruneyard Sold to Regency Centers. Formerly owned and recently renovated by Ellis Partners, the 15.9 acre Pruneyard retail complex at South Bascom and East Campbell Avenues has been purchased by Florida-based Regency Centers. While raised as a Christian but not a Catholic, my soul still resonates at the idea of Lent, which starts on March 6, 2019. During Lent, which is the 40 day period leading up to Easter Sunday,believers in Jesus Christ as Savior choose to give up something they enjoy but isn't good for them, such as smoking, eating sweets or swearing.In olden times, people traditionally went on a fast of sorts-eliminating sugar, butter, meat and fat from their diets.
