Camping and hiking at Big Basin Redwood State Park, in California.  One of the few Old Growth forest that still exist out here in California...  Most of the forests were cut during the boom times in California's history. One of the hikes we took, guided us through some of the beasts that exist here.  This tree that my son is standing next to was called "The Father of the Forest"...  It stands over 250 tall, and is still not the tallest, as the Mother of the Forest stands over 329 feet tall!
