There are a lot of things going on in the world and in our lives as well. I had to share my thoughts with you tonight. I have three Escrows, that I am trying to keep together and as you know there are challenges to deal with and at the same time trying to list new properties and market twelve other listings can be challenging at times. Then to boot, there are many distractions going on in the US as well as in the world. Just to name a few, an Ex President who is fighting a lot of legal issues. Wordless Wednesdays:  Easy dinner, easy clean up... all baked. I have my latest cookbook and have not used it... it was all about baking and keeping dinner easy.Well, if you are wondering this was an easy dinner as well as an easy clean up:)If you are wondering, fingerling potatoes with parmesan cheese.Purple Asparagus with lemon zest, lemon juice and parmesan cheese.Salmon with balsamic   vinegar with a fig reduction.425% in the oven for 30 minutes and you are done. Hard to believe 2018 is almost in the history books. This year, there has been a great deal of turmoil on the Global as well as on the  Local Economic Fronts. Consumer Confidence has been at an all-time high and the unemployment rate has been the lowest since the 1960’s. One would think all is well, since the US economy has  been expanding 2.2% in the 1st Qtr., 4.2% in the 2nd Qtr. and now to a solid 3.4% annual rate in the 3rd Qtr., and the 4th Qtr. is being anticipated to a moderate 2.2 %.The GDP growth is projected to  be above 3% which would be the best showing since 2005.I have always subscribed to the theory “If it is not broken do not fix it”, well clearly the Fed does not subscribe to the same theory. Have you had Gingerbread Cookies? A European tradition or addiction?Well I admit it I am a Gingerbread Cookie Addict. I look forward every year when Trader Joe’s brings the two types of Gingerbread Cookies, one that are covered with dark chocolate and the other with the glazed sugar. I have introduced Diane to it many years ago and she looks forward to it as much as I do.Gingerbread cookies are  around  all year in Hungary, I remember eating them at every function you can imagine, weddings, birthdays, Easter and of course at Christmas. Most of the cookies were a piece of art and you almost did not want to ruin it by eating it. Many people think Harvard University is in Boston, MA. the actuality is Harvard University is in Cambridge MA. the Charles River Separates Cambridge from Boston. Locals just shake their heads when they hear tourists make this mistake and graciously correct the visitors. If you ever visit Boston, MA make sure you put Harvard Square on your must visit destination.This past November when we were in Boston we were on our way to visit Diane's Cousins. No we did not rent a car, worst thing to do is to rent a car if you are visiting Boston. My advice is to take the "T" as it is affectionately called in Boston and vicinity. I am so thankful for being a Realtor in Beverly Hills, CA words can hardly describe it. Who would have thought that an Airborne Ranger Infantry Captain would one day become a Beverly Hills, CA. Realtor? It is November and a good time to be Thankful for many things, including the people we are close to and the many wonderful opportunities  that are presented to us that we normally just take for granted. So, let me start out with how grateful I am, for having relocated to Los Angeles twenty-two years ago. The Boston Read Sox have achieves something I wish many people who have been fans for their entire life but did not get to see it. The 2018 Red Sox team is the winningest team  in the entire history, they just broke the 1912 Records:The 2018 Boston Red Sox are the winningest team in franchise history. With a 6-2 victory over Baltimore Orioles on Monday, the Red Sox set a new franchise record with their 106th win. That broke the tie they had with the 1912 team, which went 105-47 en route to a World Series championship.Scoreboards flashed "106 Wins." Interestingly all the people are interested and they will be pleasantly surprised that the market is strong and fine unlike what you read in some of the National Media...So with that said let's look at the Active Statistics aka what is available for sale:As you can inventory is still tight month over month not much difference between last year and this year.
