Appraising FHA 203k properties in Stockton or anywhere else for that matter I appraised these 203k loan projects from 1992 - 2004 and since I was already a home inspector and a 203k consultant it was easy for me to understand the process. HUD actually called me one time to go to Alabama and provide instruction to the Appraisal Institute group there in Birmingham I think it was. There are a good many appraisers out there that certainly know what they are doing but I get asked to speak at AI groups now and then and it is amazing some of the questions we get from the floor that tells us there are quite a few that don't have a clue. At what time in the short sale process do you stop accepting additional offers for submittal to the lender? If you accept another offer after you've already submitted one to the lender, does it reset your timeline to the beginning? Do you just put them in backup position? Deals in Tracy: Well about 20% of the market is bank owned forclosures so take your pick and make an offer. besides that I do really like one property in perticular for an investment, Listing # 70082559 Its in a small town called banta which is just north east of Tracy on Grantline but pretty much considered Tracy. Its on a nice sized lot . The inside needs to be completly gutted. Some nice upgrades like new roof and siding.
