I should have sensed the connection sooner -- Heim (a German word).  I finally woke up to the connection for Anaheim and the German influence.  Anaheim real estate is sprinkled with "Auf Deutsch" and rightfully so since the founders were German immigrants.  If you Google "Anaheim German Influence" and you can find detailed histories and many accounts of how this all happened --interesting stuff.  Also note that the German club - "The Phoenix Club" is of course in Anaheim.  03/06/2009

I closed a deal on a bank owned foreclosure in Anaheim, Orange County California today. It took the lender more than 45 days to close this deal. I was surprised to discover that even after my clients signed the loan docs, it still took two weeks to fund. Should we prepare all FHA buyers for the scrutiny of numerous lender conditions both before and after underwriter approval?
