Who is Buying Homes in USA.  On average a lot of homes sells on a daily basis.  Over 12,000 per day. Many are investors and many are first time buyers. Lot of people are buying homes for all cash. Many investors buy for all cash from desperate sellers, or from foreclosure auctions.  You will notice that the first time buyers is the biggest percentage of home buyers. First time buyers are what you call the engine of the home sales. If they don't buy the entry level homes,  2nd and 3rd time buyers can't sell their homes and buy. They have had a similar program for quite a while. I remember when I first moved to Anaheim Hills, we got 2 six foot shade trees, and we just got another one last year.
