Wow....750 Plus street rods and custom cars were in Victoria BC July 29, 2007 on display in front of the Empress Hotel and BC Parliament Building.  All came for the 75th Anniversary of the 1932 Ford, Best known as a the "Deuce" Featuring the 1932 Ford as the main attraction, hosted by Deuces NW street rods builder Mr. Al Clark.  Strong Sales and Prices Continue in Summer Real Estate MarketSeptember 4, 2007The exceptional strength of the Victoria area real estate market continued in August with brisk sales and robust prices. Sales of homes and other properties in the Greater Victoria area last month reached the highest level for the month of August in over 15 years. There were 846 sales through the Victoria Real Estate Board's Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) in August, up 22 per cent from the 694 sales in the same month a year ago. There were 922 sales in July of this year.  Arrival of Spring Brings SurgeIn Victoria Real Estate Sales We all thought real estate was going to adjust, maybe even Bust or Burst(many predicted a balloon burst for real estate)In Victoria BC our real estate market changed in the upward direction in February of this year, home prices seemed to bottom in December 2006. Manly due to little activity due to bad weather and the Chirstmas season.Certainly the slowest December for me in 35 years, Then January 2007 came and buyers were calling on Jan 2/07, Now it's almost May and my listing inventory is not growing, nor is the MLS listings, the Sales have jumped way up, many home sales are going as fast as they are listed.
