Gulf Island real estate news my statistical blog is stuck between... two real estate boards. I did not know that half the Mayne Island real estate listings and half the Galiano Island real estate listing where on the Vancouver real estate board and half where on the Victoria real estate board.So if you see the Gulf island listing in any Vancouver publication it only shows their listing and if you see them from Victory you see the other half. Some places show up twice on the mls.Statistically it makes it hard to compile data on the two places. I have access to the two boards figures but if the same place is on both then it gets counted twice.I will try and work on a system so I can compile accurate stats for those two island and the rest of the southern gulf islands. check out my statist... 11/29/2007

Salt Spring Island real estate news off to Mayne Island this morning. Mayne Island real estate seems to be active. I have had lots of interest in the Edith road listing in the last month. It would be nice to sell the house. I'm going to sigh up a new listing this morning. It sounds like a nice place, I'm looking forward to seeing it.Mayne Island is a very warm and friendly place. There are about 900 residents and there does not seem to be one who does not like the island. If the island had schools up to grade 12, I could live there, there is a special Carma the island exudes.I hope to get some nice pictures for my web site today. Mayne Island real estate news. I started a new page on my web site for Mayne Island today. Mayne is a gem in the Gulf Island chain. I think is a very cool place and if we did not have kids I would move there. There are some great deals on Mayne. Mayne Island real estate news FSBO. I found that there where lots of Mayne Island houses for sale by owner on Mayne Island. I managed to get a hold of one owner and viewed the lovely home.It is a spend-ed big house on high bank waterfront. With a view east over towards the other Gulf Island and Vancouver Island. The most amazing thing about the house was what was in it. She has a 96" loom in the basement. If you live on the Gulf Island you get to see a lot of looms, weaving is big, with all those sheep running around and all that wool. I have never seen such a big loom, most are half that size. The house itself is not a west coast house but like a Big new Calgary house 3 story walkout 1500sq ft per floor well finished with all the latest gear.
