- Scottsdale Luxury Home Market Performance for September 2021 - September was another month where we saw some great sales activity in some price points and slower activity in others. This report covers the luxury home market in Scottsdale. All of these homes were on the market for one million dollars or more. We then broke the sales activity into four price points to show further detail. We track these four sales metrics on a monthly basis:Active - How many homes were for sale at the end of the month.UCB (Under Contract Accepting Backup Offers) - How many homes were under contract, but still accepting backup offers at the end of the month.Pending - How many pending sales there were. Here is the most recent Scottsdale AZ Real Estate Housing Market Report for September 2021:  After increasing over $56,000 between April and May, and reaching an all-time high of $1,247,173, the average sales price of homes in Scottsdale has decreased by $141,510 over the last four months, down to $1,105,663 in September. At the same time, the average sold price per square foot increased for the second straight month, from $376/sf in August to $385/sf for September. After remaining the same or decreasing for the first seven months this year, the days on market has now increased for the second straight month, up from 35 DOM in August to 40 DOM in September. The low housing supply has caused homes throughout the country to appreciate at a much faster rate than what we’ve experienced historically.
