Is the Home Staged or is it just lived in NEATLY"? Yesterday I took a potential Buyer out to view a few homes. One of the homes we viewed showed great curb appeal in a really great neighborhood. As we entered we were both WOWED by the decor in the home and on the back patio. We continued to be wowed by the furniture and the decor as we went through the home. The garage floor was finished perfectly with a new epoxy coating with absolutely NO OIL SPOTS or tire tracks. I was really WOWED again as I opened the pantry. Here is what I saw. Was this pantry staged? As we continued through the house my prospective Buyer and I both realized that the house was occupied by the NEATEST person I have ever encountered.

Wine Tasting in the Prescott Arizona area is not impossible! Grapes grow well in this area and I have been seeing private mini vineyards popping up. I have a neighbor with a Shiraz mini vineyard. Even I have my own cabernet grapes growing! Hailing from Sonoma County California, I have enjoyed weekend tastings and I have entered a grape stomp or two. Being native to the wine country of Sonoma County I was surprized to find vineyards in the high desert. I thought moving to Arizona meant giving up beaches, fresh fish, sour dough bread and wine. Wrong! I only gave up the sand of the beaches! I was surprized to find that the little town of Chino Valley where I moved to, has a wonderful organic winery! Not only do they have a wonderful organic winery but they have, picnics, weddings, catering...

Chino Valley Arizona is a little piece of paradise for country lovers. Known for years as the horse community of Yavapai County and the best pinto bean area since the depression, Chino Valley is still a small town where you can see the stars at night.  Most of Chino Valley is on 1-2+ acre parcels. Since about 1995 the town has added some high density areas close to the center of town, however the community is adamant about keeping the rural feeeling here. No street lights and no big box stores. We still only have one grocery store and a Wallgreens. Pretty small town for a girl coming from San Francisco! Streets are laid out on a grid of 3,2,1 Center, 1.2.3. Just a little booring. As you drive thru town at 45 mph it is easy to notice changes. Well one day we had a new sign go up.Then,......

First time homebuyers are one of the best parts of being a Realtor  . They are so excited and so willing to listen and learn. Also, they appreciate so much. My current couple is closing today. They are young and very responsible. She worked hard and put herself thru nursing school while raising their young son. She had a plan that after she finished school she was buying a house. She found me on the internet and we began a great friendship and home search. She knew her budget and had already been to the lender to get qualified. We only looked at houses a few days and she was ready to make an offer. We made an offer on a house they all liked. Two days later they were worried. Some issues came up and she wanted out. We were able to cancel that contract and the next day..... the perfect ho...
