As a very young child (2-5  years old) I spent my summers with my Swedish Grandparents, Conrad and Hilma Hoglund (Swedish Spelling). The reason for this was being 50% Swedish and having hot summers in the early 1950's with only fans and no AC, I had convulsions from high fevers of 106-107 degrees. Under the directions of our family doctor, my father drove me to the family farm in NW Wisconsin in the middle of the night to remove me from the heat.
