2009 is almost over before you know it, 15 days to be exact.  If you are thinking to put your house on the market in 2010, I would like to suggest a few things: Put up that Christmas tree: When holiday is over, put up all the Christmas decorations before listing your house.  They are nice for the holidays, but it will be tacky if they are still part of your home decor after Christmas. De-clutter: Show the space you have.  De-clutter, clean out the closet, maybe donate those used clothes that you don't wear anymore, it is still cold weather, lots of charity organizations would love to have extra warm clothes for needed families. With the new $6,500 tax credit for existing home owners till 4/30/10, I can foresee more home owners are more ready and willing to put their home on the market.  Is your house ready for sale, or you need to do some projects first? Do you like to watch "Weekend Warriors" on HGTV, doesn't it bring the inner contractor side out of you?  All the demolition, design, vision, color matching......just can't wait to start that project you have been putting away, can you?  There is nothing to it, it only takes those home owners one or some weekend/s from start to finish, I can do that.  Or is it really?
