I do like “gammon” I do I really do… This is one of my favorites.  I know of very few people who don’t like this subject.  While it is called by several different names and in the meaning I’ll give them to you.  If I haven’t told you I really like this I really do.  I like it in several different ways.  In fact I had some yesterday but not today but I will tomorrow.  Now I guess I’ve held your attention long enough so the meaning of (gam’en) is a smoked or cured ham or side of bacon.  Have I mentioned I like gammon?

Did you know we live everyday with “rigorism”? Isn’t Webster’s © wonderful, I mean where can you set around reading something and come across these valuable words and their meaning?  Let’s face it I do all the time.  I’m so behind the times when it comes to words but now I enjoy looking for them and learning in the process.  By the way the meaning of (rig’er iz’em) is strictness or severity as in way of living, religion, moral code, artistic style.  For Realtors® we have a strict limit as to the things we can do and say and of course there’s the moral code.  I wonder how some of you will use it in a sentence today.  What say you?

In about 3-5 years I will “evanescence”. Yep it’s about that time.  My age is catching up with me.  While the old body starts to fade the mind still thinks like a 30 year old.  This will not be my usual 200 word post but a shorter version.  So without any or hesitation the meaning of (-nes’ens) is a fading from sight; vanishing.  So in about 3-5 years I plan to retire the second time and fade from sight and memory.  But until then you’ll just have to put up with the old man.

Well I bet your wondering why I chose such a interesting word and where am I about to take you with this ride.  I usually take this time and write about some things and save the meaning towards the last but not today.  The meaning of (gras’lis) is lacking any sense of what is right or proper.  Now how can one better describe the Congress and President?  I can throw in the Supreme Court also.  They took an oath to uphold the Constitution but they make a mockery of it.  I often wonder if we keep heading in that direction what will become of these beloved States.

Golf, clothes and Satin As the story goes there was this couple who was having a hard time with money.  So they sat down and the husband loved golf and the wife loved clothes.  So they agreed to the following: for one month the husband would not play golf and the wife would not buy clothes.  The first week went well and so did the second.  By the end of the third week the wife bought a dress.  Once the husband came home she admitted to what she had done.  The husband was not very happy and told the wife I thought we had an agreement.  She told him she knew but she just had to have the dress.  The husband told her she should have said “Satin get behind me”.      Are you ready?         Sure you want to hear the punch line?         Scroll down just a bit more     To that she replied “I d...

What shall we call it? Serendipity? Good Karma? Dumb luck? Skill or team work? Back around the first of the year some friends called and said they were inspired to look for a little place in the country, a weekender.  Could I help? But of course I can help. We scoured the MLS in the UNDER $50,000 price range. Yes friends under $50k. As fate would have it a few listings met the criteria. Savvy buyers, they would do drive by trips on their own to determine their level of interest. After a brief search we went out to look at just 2 listings together January 19th. Don't you just love that? They chose the two bedroom, two bath lake view cottage, overlooking beautiful Beaver Lake in Lowell, Arkansas. It was listed for a whopping $23,000. It is a two story cottage with a great room, bed and ba...
