So do I have your attention do I?  We are not talking about things that fly.  We are talking about something that looks good however.  That is about the best hint I can think of for this word.  So with nothing else to say I will tell you the meaning of (jet) is a hard black variety of lignite, which takes a high polish; sometimes used in jewelry.  So did you know the meaning?  Join us tomorrow for another journey into the wonderful world of Wordsmith.  Click on the link below.  Who knows you may learn something along the way and some of the words may even bring a smile to your face.

Catalectic is the new word of the day. So what do we have here?  For those of you who are prolific writers this should be a giveaway.  For those of you like me who are not this one you will never get.  I really can’t think of any hints to give you so let’s cut to the chase and I’ll tell you the meaning of (kat’e lek’tik) is to leave off, cease; lacking a syllable.  Whatever it is way beyond me.  Join us tomorrow for another journey into the wonderful world of Wordsmith.  Click on the link below.  Who knows you may learn something along the way and some of the words may even bring a smile to your face.   Stevedore is the new word of the day. For those of you living around the coast this should be a giveaway.   Can’t think of any hints to give you other than if you have been around ships and their cargo (darn another hint) you should know this one.  The meaning of (ste’ve dor’) is a person employed at loading and unloading ships; a longshoreman. So did you know the meaning did you?   Join us tomorrow for another journey into the wonderful world of Wordsmith.  Click on the link below.  Who knows you may learn something along the way and some of the words may even bring a smile to your face.

Cynosure is the new word of the day. We all have this in us if we would just admit it.  I know I do and I also know all of you who will comment on this have this issue to.  Can’t give you any hints because frankly I don’t know of any way to put it without giving the word away.  So I’ll just tell you the meaning of (si’ne shoor’) is any person or thing that is a center of attention or interest.   Join us tomorrow for another journey into the wonderful world of Wordsmith.  Click on the link below.  Who knows you may learn something along the way and some of the words may even bring a smile to your face.

N’est-ce pas? Is the new word of the day. Parlez-vous français?  If not that’s okay I don’t either.  But the new word(s) of the day is from there.  I know all of you read my posts almost daily if not you wouldn’t be reading this one.  But that’s another story.  You may be wonder where I’m going with this but stay with me and you’ll understand.  I read several writings by people I follow and sometimes by those I don’t.  Anyway the meaning of (nes pa’) is "isn’t that so"?  Did you understand where I went with this word did you?  So did you know it did you know the meaning of the word before I told you?  Join us tomorrow for another journey into the wonderful world of Wordsmith.  Click on the link below.  Who knows you may learn something along the way and some of the words may even brin...

Laconic is the new word of the day. I do this all the time.  I know some of you do it to but it can come back to bite you.  This word has its place but at times it is best if you don’t follow the rules it sets forth.  I know I’ve lost some clients because this is just a part of me and my style.  The meaning of (le kan’ik)  is a brief of speech or expression.  What say you do you leave yourself (short) sometimes?  Join us tomorrow for another journey into the wonderful world of Wordsmith.  Click on the link below.  Who knows you may learn something along the way and some of the words may even bring a smile to your face.
