Good morning, Kathleen... I did not get that letter. And I would agree that lack of competition in our industry will prove problematic the way it did in other industries (airline industry, for example).

Did not get the letter.

 

NAR sold the domain "Realtor dot com" a long time ago.  To whom?  And for how much money?  And where did that money go?  What was their justification for selling it?

 

When that sale took place, [we] Realtors lost the most powerful position on the internet.  It can never be regained.

 

If this "partnership" leads to the death of NAR, I am all for it.

I am like J.R. Schloemer if this communication arrived to my inbox I just deleted it.  I did give homes.com a twirl for 6 months and the amount of the investment did not reap a return on my investment to convert. 

I am not a fan of Co-Star who now becomes a monopoly buying homes.com, apratments.com, loop net, Matterport and so many more Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist

Yes, I received that and a giant color brochure about why I should boost my listings.  Customized too with a picture of one of my listings on it.

 

As to the letter, I did contact the DOJ.  Zillow needs to get the NAR treatment from them.
