Video stimulates attention leading to more showing requests and more doors opening to opportunity to connecting buyers and sellers.  My listings get a professional video EACH & EVERY time... no price point or condition requirement.

Home video tour videos certainly help unlock the doors, and a video should be done for every listing.

That video isn't going to make me come see that house.  I think it all depends on who your target market is.  Right now with ours being 65+ majority, video isn't really that important to our buyers.  They are still "let's go see and touch it" people.  As the techies get older it will be come more important in this market.  Not to say we don't every do them, but it's all about catering to who you know is likely to buy the house.  For us, it's retirees.

That particular video does set the ambience for a buyer who likes the style of the home.  If the Home Tour Videos are done well, it does have the potential to Open Doors. You have done some amazing Videos yourself, give us your opinion?

Videos and photos are the same in this regards, both serve as a way to entice buyers to see the home.  Videos and photos, when done right, excentuate the positive.  When done wrong, they can keep someone from wanting to see the house.

I think done correctly, video is a great medium to market your properties.

It would be nice if more people did more indepth video tours, especially for out of the area buyers.

Parked and reading. Video was not a factor when I retired. That said, these days it is growing in use and may give one agent an advantage over another.

Videos are only a part of the real estate marketing equation.  Every market is different and the buyers within various markets are different.
