Yes, I do regularly look at real estate in other areas.  It is interesting to see what properties are worth in different parts of the country.  I don't look at how they market or anything like that.  It's more of if I'm driving through an area I'll look a house up on homes.com or if I see a homes magazine while waiting for a tour to start I'll look at it.  Looked at some horse property in Kentucky a few years ago while waiting for a tour of a retirement farm for race horses.

I do and have.  On my way to Yosemite one time, aout 10 years ago, I went throough the town of Mariposa, which is the biggest town before Yosemite.  I noticed about 10 real estate offices in this tny town, and all were on the main road going through town.  Two years alter, there was one.  I believe the trend I witnessed was the rise in AirBnB and VRBO.  I'm sure a lot of those offies were making a living renting out the cabins in that part of the Sierra.  Just a hunch of something I remember as being highly noticable.

Typically no, but I did like that in Ireland they post Sale Agreed sign riders on their For Sale signs once in escrow and I brought that back. Vacation s I'm 100% unplugged. Although touring the mansions in Providence, Rhode Island's Millionaire's Row was awesome!!!

Always, even go into open houses, and hand out cards.  You never know when an agent may have a referral to Denver.   When I went to Europe back in 2002 it was fun talking with "state agents" and see how their positions differ from ours in the US.
