The whole DNC doesn't seem to work too well.  I get barraged with calls.   i love the ones who call and tell me they "can sell my home in a short time and for top dollar!"  I then respond I'm a Broker, yet they still keep yapping.  I guess my response is not in their script.

I get so many scam calls daily about "final expenses", "auto accident in the last two years", "cut down on electric bills" and more. PAIN IN THE.....!!!

The occasional call from a broker looking for a listing is almost refreshing!

I keep waiting for my solution to kick in i.e., if you solicit as in spam, a blocker bug rushes back to the point of origin (the caller) & causes problems for you. Some smart software guy has millions waiting for this once developed. Meanwhile, Congress remains worthless in problem-solving thank you Shayne Stone

Shayne Stone I get a lot of "May I speak to the business owner?". I ask them: What business and not once have they had a clue what business they were calling. Also there must be an ancient list floating around because they ask for Gary... Gary who once owned the business died 10 years ago 😒.

When some people see that acronym, they are left thinking in political terms, Shayne. 🙄 The (DNC) Do Not Call list has been an abysmal failure, in my opinion because it is not monitored or enforced because I keep getting the spammers and scammers!

I have come to the belief that the DNC is the list telemarketers use as a source of contacts. 99% never report a violation and of the 1% that do 99% of the complaints are dismissed for technical reasons. Figure the odds versus the opportunity.

I've been on the DNC since it started and it's a joke.  The agency that enforces it has publicly stated in the past they have no real funding outside of proceeds from lawsuits, so they only target the fraud and scam companies and big real estate companies.

I have a program that looks up numbers, and when I get a "spam likely" I look it up, if nothing comes up, I block the call.   It has reduced the calls a bit.  It is the "investors" looking for a fixer that drive me crazy.
