I wouldn't use such a day to advertise. I just post a respectful comment with a photo usually to commemorate the day.

I've been doing special marketing for our Exchange Club's Memorial Day Field of Honor® event. That being said, I wouldn't do marketing about me on a day that is about our deceased heroes.

Military people who died in service deserve to be recognized on Memorial Day. I will be honoring them, Will!

I am doing an Open House on the 24th for 1 hour and post it on 19th. No special marketing, but I am hoping someone will come by.😁 The listing is about one block from my home.

I do not do anything extra. I think marketing around every holiday and especially a holiday like Memorial Day, which should be a solemn event, is cheesy.

I usually like to get into the holiday spirit with some fun social media posts—think patriotic pics, catchy captions, and maybe even a meme or two to grab attention. 

Sometimes, I’ll also write a blog post to share some memories or tips related to Memorial Day. 

It’s all about connecting with folks and reminding them that I’m here to help, whether it’s a holiday or any day of the year. 

It’s more of keeping my name in front of them than anything else.

     I stand with Thomas J. Nelson, REALTOR ® CRS,ABR,PSA,RCS-D, CFSP on this one.   The cartoon he included in his reply says it all.

    It's one thing to hold sales and promote merchandise on Valentine's Day or even Mother's Day.   

    But Memorial Day was established to remember men and women who DIED in service to their Country.  (Whether the wars were justified or not, whether they were political wars, has no bearing on the men who took up arms and stepped into the battle).

     Mattress sales, and 15% off lawn equipment sales at the hardware store, have their time and place, but not on the last Monday of May.   

     I certainly won't be hawking my services on a day when the Flag is at half-staff.  

Never really did much. Most of Memorial Day is spent on veterans and ceremonies

The advantages of retirement is you don't have to get creative. Or, my wife put out some small flags, does that count? Never did when active either as I considered it a solemn day and did not take appointments. 

No marketing, no cookouts, no working.

I do not do much.

I buy miniature flag pins and use then in letters or hand outs.  They can be found for a low price in bulk online.

Always annoys me that people can't remember to put a flag up.
