I don't know BUT that announcement changed the way I respond to comments as it said if we comment to comments there is no points in it (I don't know if they followed through with that or not) so now I reply without making it a stand alone comment. I hope that makes sense Peter Mohylsky,

I've always felt some points on one's anniversary of signing up to AR.  It might re-engage some past bloggers.

With spring cleaning in mind, it may be a good time to make some changes. I would suggest the elimination of points for Featured posts since that selection process is very subjective.

I would also eliminate all of the points related to the Q&A section and for bookmarked posts.
